Marketing Management of Agricultural Products


After a successfully processed agricultural products, is needed marketing so that agricultural products can be sold and known by the public. Therefore necessary for us to know the management in the marketing of agricultural products.

Marketing is a social process in which individuals and groups obtain what they need and they want by creating, offering, and freely exchanging products of value with others.

For the definition of managerial, marketing is often described as "the art of selling a product." However, people wonder when they hear that the most important agents in marketing is not sales! The sale is only small peak marketing. Peter Drucker, a leading management theorist, said the following:

People can assume that there will always be demand and sales. But the goal of marketing is not to expand sales to where - where. The goal of marketing is to know and understand the customer so that the product or service that fits with the customer. Ideally, marketing should result in a customer who is ready to buy. All that's needed next is to provide products or services.

(Management) Marketing is the process of planning and implementation of ideas, pricing, promotion, and distribution of ideas, goods and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives (Kotler, 2002).

Marketers and Prospects

A marketer is someone who is looking for a response (attention, purchasing, voting, donation) from another party, called the prospect. If the two parties together to try to sell something else, we refer to them as marketers.
