DJI always provides an up-to-date, high resolution aerial data solution that maximizes yields  and minimizes costs with drone mapping. Mavic Pro, a drone mapping, has abiltity to compile plants count and establishment checks, detect weeds/disease or parasites and fungi, measure nitrogen and biomass.

With fast data processing and the ability to fly in variable weather conditions, DJI Mavic Pro allows farmers to work with the latest crop data, including crop stress and crop health issues on farming properties. Then export it in industry standard formats for variable rate nitrogen or pesticide prescriptions.

The Mavic Pro

The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone weighing only 743 grams that lets farmers very quickly get airborne for a quick look at farmer's crops or livestock. Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity that makes it one of DJI’s most sophisticated flying cameras ever. 24 high-performance computing cores, an all-new transmission system with a 4.3mi (7km).

Long range, height sensors and a 4K stabilized camera are at your command. Even the remote controller is pocket-sized, so you can always have this with you in your pickup’s glove compartment.

Capabilities of Mavic Pro

Whilst not as powerful as a multi-spectral sensor, the Mavic RGB camera is capable of more than just pretty pictures. The Mavic Pro's key feature is its portability. The following are key features of Mavic Pro that help farming processes more efficient.
  • Crop scouting. Mavic Pro has ability to identify areas of poor growth
  • Terrain elevation, namely generating models to show height
  • Variable rate nitrogen
  • Tree & plant counting
  • Basic mapping and 3D modelling
  • Great for videos of seeding & harvest
The system comes complete and ready-to-fly with everything needed to start mapping on your farm. Mavic drone, 3 batteries (25mins flight time each), charging hub, spare props, landing pad and carry case.

A 3 month subscription to Dronedeploy Pro is included – a free version can be used to begin with and the Pro option activated any time for 3 months of advanced analytics. Training covers everything needed from the aircraft through to flight planning and software.

A DroneDeploy Pro 3 month subscription with training is included. After this it costs £230 for 3 months, or £770 for a year.

For more advanced analytics, tree and plant counting, data export options and on-going support you can upgrade to Aeroview data processing at £100 per month.

Extra Batteries

These provide about 25mins flight time per pack. £70 each

Smart Ground Control Point Package

A normal GPS system provides accuracy to about 1m either way which is enough for most agri mapping scenarios. When more accuracy is required for applications such as mapping margins, tramlines or measuring crop height, smart ground control points will provide position accuracy to within 5cm. £4600.
